Hi1) my mechanic told me that fitting a front 245/40/18 wheel may hit the wheel arch while turning, therefore I was advised to go for 235 instead. Is this true ?2) Does E39 share the same wheel offset as E60 ? If so then the rims are inter-exchangeable.Appreciate any feedback

1) See your PM

2) E39 and E60 has same offset but different centre hole size, the E39 being slightly bigger (74mm) than E60 (72.5mm). E39 rims can fit E60 with a cone (also known as hubcentric ring).

ok, I just checked with AB on this issue : E60 can go with 245 wheel in front and the offset for E39 and E60 rim is different, so they are not inter-changeable.
