The rear suspension has 2 upper track arms ie. the front one(straight and shorter) and the rear one(bengkok and longer).

The front one the ball joint koyak ady and the ball was really loose in it's socket

gotta mark the eccentric bolt or otherwise must do alignment

plan view of the eccentric bolt (to adjust toe)

where the eccentric bolt reside

my symptom was twitchy arse and the rear feels loose at speed > 120km/h
and when I rock the wheel at 3 n 9 o'clock position there is movement

hope this fixes it as I have yet to test drive to see the result.freakin expensive for a stupid fragile looking arm as opposed to the front suspension thrust arm....

This reminds me, I better check mine, i've never replaced this item before, only done the front.

the arm replacement resulted in a marked improvement in the overall driveability.
gone are the skips when negotiating roundabouts that have patches on it.twitching is gone and the requirement to correct the steering during hi speed straightline is no more required and high speed long sweeping corners can be taken with confidence like how my previous e39 was....
