bros- i saw projectors at a shop near MBK in Bkk.. they didn't have in stock and had to wait one day.. but next day was songkran and i had to chow the day after..

anyway, i dunno if it's depo or not, but they have facelifted projectors for rm1250 ... they had old face and i played with it abit..quality looks very good but i dunno if it's depo or not.

i passed the email to yellow.. maybe if you guys interested can get it off him.

i wanna put on projectors and xenons but i dont want hassle and problems.. also i dont want to pay 5k.. its a bit too much for some headlights.. 2k more reasonable.

what i want is something that looks like factory spec.. i'm sure it's out there somewhere

If it is projector lights 1 set at RM 1250 is a very good deal. But does it include HID? It could be just projectors with halogen lamps.

If it does not include HID then after you add the HID it should be around 2000 something. Still a good deal for facelifted E46 projectors. Just check some websites and I think they do now have projectors for facelifted E46.

I could not find the depo for facelifted last year when I was actively looking at it.

A question...mine is a prefacelift model E46 2000...if i were to change to original xenon projectors that would mean there isnt angel eyes right?...or am i wrong?...is there a xenon projector for prefacelift that comes together with angel eyes?..

Hi Chubby,

You have to get a Taiwan Depo projector lights. They come with angel eyes.

Original projectors don't come with angel eyes.

That you have to ask kat8186. He installed one. I just looked at the depo projectors but never tested them out. Last time I saw kat8186 projectors i think they are yellow angel if not mistaken.

But can always change the angel eyes if you don't like the color so it is still ok.

Best to check with the installer if he can kau tim for you on the spot so you don't have to come back later to change angel eyes.

I think you can get it at auto technika or WRC Lights. I don't have the number for WRC but you can get it easily off the motor trader magazine.

Should cost you around RM 2.5-3K including HID and angel eyes for pre face lifted projectors. Best to check with the reseller.

Worthwhile or not really depends on you. You add another RM 1K can get original Bosch projector without angel eyes. You can refer to my earlier post on this topic on the pros and cons of original projectors.

One more thing. I was told by Auto Technika and from my own research, the taiwan depo projectors have a light throw designed for cars on the right side of the road ie usa and taiwan driving.

I am not sure how significant the beam bias. Never tested the depo on my car but saw the depo light throw in kat8186. Seems ok and does not blind oncoming traffic.

Maybe need some slight adjustment on the light throw. Make it bias towards left side and adjust the height of the light throw for the right side projector to a lower height (to avoid blinding on coming cars)
