Having a little trouble with my key.... seems like the battery is weak. Works intermittently. Isn't it supposed to be charged when in the ignition? Is there a replacement battery? Mine is the older pre- diamond key.

Bro I don't know if it's true but they say when you change the battery make sure you replace it within 10 secs or so when you take out the old battery.

Ya.. I heard something like dat before... Can DIY or must go key shop? What kinda battery ah?

the best thing is to diy at the key shop. open it up at the key shop and note down the battery size before you remove it. better yet is to ask the key guy to do it and you be the supervisor. tell him that he has only 10 secs to replace the battery or else he will be responsible for any damage
