This is my habit too... wa lan nehh... can damaged the pump mehh...

i thought those fuel indicator light use to warning us about the current petrol level..now we have to be more alert than the indicator itself??

nice info anyway,since i frequently top up my petrol once the indicator light up..and sometimes my car hard to start..(weekend car)

It suppose be as what you describe bro, but once the fuel pump week then you will facing this kind of prob on our UDM. After i replace my fuel pump till now, i still follow my old stye of refill when my fuel indicator light ups hu..hu..:smokin:

Hi guys,

Issit necessary to change the left side floater as well when changing fuel pump on the right ( driver side). I just encounter last saturday, my fuel pump gave way, start engine then str8 died off, mech ask me to hit the fuel tank located below the driver side and luckily the car start running as normal. Today i just change both side of the sensor which comes with the hose as well.

Bro Alex, sorry I didnt understand, on your first post u said you change the fuel delivery unit, then you posted about your diy on wiper and contact. I thought you somehow said your problem solved after changing the fuel pump? No?

Bro you need to spend more time to read my posting, i did not mentioned the diy pic was mine.
Btw fyi yes.. my problem was solve as mentioned from my posting.
