E46 Engine oil keep on topping!

Hi, I got a headace problem on my e46 engine, I services my car on 02/04/2008 and the mechanic fill up 4.5L Mobil 1 5W-50 engine oil for my engine. Until now, I already top up the engine oil for another 4L for 3 to 4 times whenever engine light on (yellow color) after I shut off engine. I need help and advise on this matter.

check that your crankcase ventilation valve is not jammed open all the time.

it really low on oil? have you checked the dipsticks?
your car burning oil? or just a faulty sensor.

I did check the dip stick b4 topping the engine oil. The oil level is below min level of dip stick, so I topping up till approx. max level of the dipstick. But the practice still on going for the time being. I have to send my car for thoroughly check on engine leaking first b4any action taken espeacially and hopefully don't go to overhaul engine.

what engine ? 1.9, 2.0 2.5 2.8 or 3.0 engine ?

bro, u should fillup your oil until the middle mark of your dipstick, not until the max level

the middle mark i mention is at the end of the normal range before touching the overfill area
