not me.

*scratching head*

maybe..
fuel pump dah tak power..
or timing problem..

but just happened if wanna reverse..?
erm..

me got the same problems 2 .. since i got the car (new) until now .. is like that , i had complaint to AB but they told me is normal 1 !! ( 200 K + car vibrate like OSim U-zap when reverse stil normal ?) .. so wat to say ... :D

check the rear gear box mounting and longshalf mounting and coupling.

i have faced that problem but the problem is at 1st and 2nd gear. the problem at longshalf coupling at front gearbox and longshalf boost mounting.

tq

My rpm is constant on D and R. So doesnt look like its "normal". Unless mine is abnormal....

yeah, same like E60 the engine oil reducing and the sales reps. from AB say its normal to topup, is that the latest technology they have for BMW to be normal for reducing engine oil and vibrating when putting on reverse gear?

yup my ride too the same....each time reverse sure the rpm drop first then stabalise latter.....

but mine lately i realise sometime the rpm drops even when stationery in D.......dunno why........maybe its my knocking sensors again.........

not normal leh.... doesn't happen on my ride.
AB best comment is normal? apelah nak jadik dgn diorang tu... tsk tsk tsk

I had the problem with severe VIBRATION when in Reverse, but did not notice the RPM ... Now it is fixed at Ah Meng's M-Speed. Changed the ENGINE MOUNTING x 2 = 400 RM.

depends guys.....if its just the vibrating without any severe rpm movements....then i guess it might be just the mountings...........but then if it involves the rpm not stable then it could be the knocking sensor.......

happended to me last time....then sent it to AB and they adjusted the knocking sensor for me...............then it was o.k............BUT now its happening again......

Try checking your engine mounting and if need be replace it. I think that is your best bet. The revs do tend to drop a bit when in reverse due to the differentials. But it should not vibrate if your mounting is fine.

Careful now with changing sensors and valves, went to AB.. they changed some air-flow valve, and it REDUCED the vibration when at idle (eg. at traffic lights) when the car is in gear, and brakes are applied ... BUT, at reverse, it still vibrated like hell!

Good luck with the repairs :) May your UDM be UDM again!
