E46 auto to manual gearbox..

Hi, just wondering if there is any reputable workshop in Jb to do a conversion for my frend E46 318i auto gearbox to a manual 5 speed one. He has a manual gearbox on standby but what other parts do he need and can the workshop source e other parts for him ie: clutch, pedals, shifter..etc.. and what is the damage $$$ like for this conversion?pls advise... B)

e46 got manual GB ?? is it for 318 or 325 ? maybe gear ratio might different !!

Hi, in fact in europe almost all e46 are manual..thats y my frend is able to get e gearbox from there..just that he needs to find a good wkshop to help him do e conversion...for e other components he can try to get from europe else e wkshop can help to source for him..

your friend will need all the following parts:-

gearbox
pedals
clutch pump assembly
shifter and linkages
long shaft
manual rear differencial

Hi, Did 2 convertions on e46 for my buddies, basically need complete transfer, if not your shortage of minor parts make it more difficult for you.
