Guys, As the title says, I would like to know any difference on the engine between the pre-facelift & facelift model? What are the engine code? If M54, are both model equipped with drive by wire throttle? TQ

yes bro, only one engine for 325i...the M54, started from 2000 all electric throttle

Yup, both are drive by wire. Why? Thinking of sprint booster already?

But facelift comes with DSC (pre FL has ASC only), a quicker steering rack, electronic seats, 3-spoke steering wheel and lowered suspension (among other things). So up to you to decide.....

Confirmed. 2002 facelifted 325i uses M54 and has fly/drive-by-wire throttle control and all those goodies (and a few more...) as mentioned by alxy.

Good suggestion but ....Relax bro... Pak lah said ubah cara hidup...
so can not jump from 2.0 to 3.0 first... have to wait first...

Actually E36 325i not too bad. After my in initial heart ache, she has been serving me pretty well. I would definitely recommend one.

You can get it cash like. Then save up for a 330i in a few years time.
