hello my friend, any idea if i install 18'' sport rim with lowering my E46 facelift, how is it look!i saw my friend install 17'' with original spring very high, not nice.if u put lowering spring, the Alignment with run away and effect thetyre ware out very fast.

It will look great, that's for sure ...do a search on the forum and several articles about lowering springs.

Alignment run is possible, but i dun have the details. Maybe other sifu can comment. Any bad alignment even without lowering spring can also wear out your tyres unevenly. But do note that your bushes for sure wear out faster :D

changing from original 16' to 18' will not give u much tyre problem if u stay between the 3% rule. i believe with proper balancing, aligment and tyre rotation every 10,000km, u should not worry much on the tyre wear.

u wanna know?

looks like rally car! hahaha

dont go there man,, invest in some springs and good shocks ..eibach maybe

agree.....after tht u can put mud flap... :D

Anytime you lower a car, you MUST do an alignment job...cheaper than a new set of tires imho...

try it, you will never ever regret (except when it's time to change the tires)...hehehe
