E39 xenon

hi bro, is E39 comes with ori xenon? mine is facelifted headlamp without xenon. Can add on? My car head lamp is not bright enough at nite

Projectors headlamp are always not bright enough. Even after i have fixed HID, still not satisfied. Unless i HID the fogs too....

yes, i have install aftermarket HID at my projector too, but still dim. Anyway if put HID at fogs will help meh?

If You want the light to be brighter. You neeed to change the Bulb. The have many kinds in terms of brighness. The original ones brightness is around 4.3K or 4.5K brighness the allowed brightness is 6k and below it is written on the box. For malaysia 5.3k is sufficient. Some cars with higher specs come with Xenon HID. your other option is Halogen bulb. My Oris HID are about 4.5k I changed my head lamps to Ori Japan specs with Xenon HID 6k. No problem with brightness. Maybe your adjusters are broken and you lights are drooping.

bro.. your headlamp is retrofit with just using HID kit or complete original HID headlamp.

You might have a simple problem like focal length of the bulb.

The lux output for HID far exceed halogen, HID look alike, etc..

is a aftermarket H1 Hid. headlamp adjuster is working i can control at dash but the light not high enough le :stupid:

Maybe you can take a picture of the light shining on the wall. Just park your car about 25 ft away from the way and turn on your HID. From the light profile, maybe we can figure out your problem.

My adjuster broken, using cable tie to pull it up....:wink:


Bimmer73, arent the Ks in the bulb represents the color shift instead of the brightness ? I am using 4300K.
