e39 instrument cluster fault

howdy guys,i had my instrument cluster replaced with a used unit,ebay from UK.previously from a touring.(which has the electronic damping system) .programmed the cluster by copying the data from the ews to the ike.this sets the mileage to my current mileage although the tamper dot illuminates.don't matter.what i cannot erase is the elex damping fault light.(see first pic)does anybody have a more powerful scanner/diag tool to erase this light?sifu jarance perhaps.....?i replaced my cluster due the gas gauge(tank full),temp gauge(engine cold) and outside temp gauge (oat is 32'c)faults per the 2nd pic below.

Did you change the VIN number to match the your car VIN number?

kewl,i never realised that the FGSTNR is the last 5 digits of the VIN.thanks.good info.rewrote the lks and lcm to suit my car's VIN.good news is that the tamper dot is gone but the elex damper light is still there.

i'll dig in further now that i know what FGSTNR is.hopefully i won't blow up the car.......
