E39 Idle Problem

Hi all Bavarian owners,My car, E39 year 1997 528i, started to give problem. When idling, the car RPM is below 1K and the car tend to jerked. I've sent to workshop and they tested it with the computer diagnosis tool but while at the workshop the idling problem does not occur. Untill now the problem still persist....please help me TQ

mate,
this could be one ofany reasons,put ur car on a GT diagnosis,it will pop up. maybe its one of ur sensors ie camshaft.i'm guessin it's only ur sensors.
dont worry mate,even we fall sick time 2 time,right.send ur car to some1 who know.

Dude.. the guy's right.. you should state your location first..

oi.. idle ok la if very below 1k smooth and steady. UDM not like jap car.. that goes near 1k.

ah meng said that the idle cap is not tight.....heheh actually i also dont understand what he's saying as long the problem solved and FOC....

for next service my workshop certainly will be MSpeed USJ....thumbs up......

i always o to this workshop in tmn perindustrian oug along jalan puchong. u go along jalan puchong from jalan klang lama, pass the petrol station on yr left, u will come to a trafiic light, turn left and you are there, the name is aet autoworld technologies, add 11-1, jalan 5/152, tmn perindustrian oug.

urm ... wat does that have to do with a E39 that has gotten his idle issue solved?!!!

Dear gshanmg

Maybe the ICV is making trouble when its stuck and do not smooth work as usual....better clean up or replace it wit a new one.....
