Not sure about the OBC, my car does not have and cannot fit an OBC (that gives you hint that it's a 4-potter) Hope the others would be able to help you. Get your angel eyes checked, maybe some wiring issues?

Angel eyes isn't a standard feature on our E36, hence the reason why a fault with it doesn't show up on your OBC.

You'll need to check the ballast for the angel eyes. That is usually the culprit for faulty angel eyes.
