e36 foglight removal

anyone knows how to remove the front foglights? is it a simply unscrewing job using a philip screwdriver or is there a special method or special lock-clip i need to remove? I wanna clean the foglight lens and check where does the water sip in...thanks

Russie,

You need a long flat screwdriver. It involve pulling a lever from the side of the bumper. Look at the side of the bumper (near the numberplate) just where the fog lamp is located. You should be able to see a small hole on either side of the fog lamp. Put a screwdriver into the hole and try to feel for a lever. It will unlock a clicp once you get the hang of it.
