im having problems with my ews...my swap from e36 m42 to e30 m40 has left me stranded.it wont start...anyone has a solution to this please let me know....perhaps a non ews dme??
Since no one has replied.... It is a fact that the E36's EWS immobiliser is coded into the dme. You may have answered your own question there. Good luck.
someone actually replied...but then how much will a non ews ecu cost??either that or i'm going the twin 40 weber dcoe way!!!!burn the ews and then send it to BMW!
