e36 325I power steering rack??????????

Happy CNY !!!! does anyone know the price for repair a power steering rack of 325i e36 ? your help would be much appreciate, thank you !!

I just changed mine. It cost me RM1,350, however I am driving a 318i. Dunno if it helps

As far as I know the recon streering rack is about 1.8k for E36 325i. Not sure if anyone can get cheaper than that. I'm also looking for it.

Its gonna be cheaper if you service it unless if there a reason you need to change the whole thing.

Normally if the fault is minor it can be serviced i.e. roughness, slight leak. But if the rod is bent, badly scored, pinion cracked etc its gotta be changed.

Dear bro....plz msg me..i can suggest u to my workshop, last month my steering rack also having pblem, but now the pblem already ok...and is only cost to meRM350...i m using 318i....btw where u location, my workshop location pucong.....thast the lowers prices compare than other workshop i survey before i send .

I changed my steering for 3 times,
couse the handling like ular-ular, very hard to handle.
what is going on with my power steering rack?
still the same as before

JSt changed my Steering rack too (2nd hand with the tie-rods). Total cost RM800 (parts and labor). Initially feels like driving a go-kart and now it has loosen up (mayb also because I renewed most of my suspension system together).
