e36/320/6 GBox Tuck-Tuck sound from Centre Console

Hi all Need urgent help as wifey's car there a loud tuck sound from the gearbox centre console (Inner) when the car is engaged from standstill to drive, it will dissapear and comes again when the car is stop. Power and gbox change works fine, my worries the car is in Melaka, and expected to drive up to KL tomorrow evening, any major or known problem. Called my mech in KL he's also amazed with such a sound, he pointed possiblity centre bearing damage? Anybody could help and ok to drive? I'll get my mech to check and rectify on Saturday. 1994 e36/320/6 with ZF 5 speed auto transmission

it could just be the gearbox mounting bro

possible center longshaft coupling giving way, if coupling is ok, check the inner splines and the inner coupling and refill with grease

long shaft need to go for balancing and replace the long shaft bearing

if long shaft needs balancing, then the car would be vibrating like crazy, which is not the case here
