E36 316 Engine Change

E36 316 Coupe - Engine ChangeEngine was changed to M42 1.8 Twin Cam but not the transmission by someone else. The wiring was joined, 316 inside the car with the 318 engine wiring. Sudah Rojak...Control Module was changed to 318 but not the immobilizer. As result, this car lacks power and finally ended up with an engine issue. So my friend now wants to install another similar engine, transmission and wiring from an E36 318 M42 1.8 Twin Cam half cut. Started dismantling the car this week.

y M50/M52 not in his option?

The car is mainly driven by the wife... so not planned for agressive driving...
the car was also involved in an accident ... head on.... right side... so handling at high speed ... may not be that good anymore... so he saves the idea for M50/M52 on another car that he has...
