e34 'TAIL LIGHT' warning

hi guys, need some help/advise...each time i switch on the headlights, there's this warning 'bing' sound and then on the indicator state 'TAIL LIGHT'...stays lit until stop engine open door and 'bing' again and warning 'TAIL LIGHT' again...wonder what's wrong ... read somewhere saying different wattage bulbs used for back lights could be the culprit...

Check your bulbs on ur tailight and also not forgettiing the third brake light too.

And don't forget to replace you burnt out tail light bulb with a 10 watts bulb. Higher rating will melt the housing..
