E34: Relocate battery to rear seat (from engine bay)

i finally took off the rear seat after getting some help here.my question is whether it would be possible to relocate the battery here (including holder base plate etc) without routing another +ve cable from the engine bay side.here's a set of snapshots of the space underneath my rear seat.(hope i get the access set right and you all can see it)

Batt at engine bay,anything wrong ?why have to shift under rear seat?

Somebody mentioned about overall weight balance for the car, in another thread. How the weight of a battery can affect the balance of the E34 is beyond me.

I don't think so... even the standard boot battery setup by BMW requires a thick awg +ve cable to the engine bay, fed down the driver's side of the car. Engine bay is where the heaviest electrical loads are.
