E34 gearbox gear can't engage enless after warm-up

Dear friends,
Anyone got experience this issue?
E34 M50 525 auto jatco box 5 speed.
Every morning when engine is cold, it is compulsory to warm up 10-13 mins. If not, all forward gears can't engage, except reverse gear.
Fluid level checked and changed to new bmw yellow gearbox oil.
Q: is it time to change new gearbox? I checked to overhaul gearbox is more expensive than change another Gb from half cut.
any advice what happen?

errr....sorry....just to confirm.you checked the fluid level with the engine running and at operating temperature yes?

yes...and the fluid must be up to temp..

if still no good,then best to get more info on what could be wrong as the GB works normal otherwise right?
