Dear All,My mech has finally diagnosed the problem with my none-starting E34. Looks like its the engine wiring that connects the computer box to the reset socket and the ignition coil wire. He's looked all over the place for a compatible wire but seems that second-hand engine wiring for locally assembled 520i are hard to find (on the other hand 525s are a plenty). As usuall, its you guys to the rescue ... I'd really appreciate it if anyone can point me to a shop or person that can provide the engine wiring (computer box to ignition coil and reset socket) or an estimate of the cost for a new set. My car has the following details :a. 1996 E34 520i locally assembled.b. 24V Vanos Enginec. Siemens computer boxd. GM auto-gearbox (locally assembled cars use different gearboxes apparently)Please PM me .. thanks
