e34 16" rims

hi,just got my car back from the w/shop after a heafty bill.had to carryout almost complete renewal of undercarriage parts,and still lots to do!!I will post details in the maintenance cost section soon. My current standard 15" rims and tires are in 50/50 condition and want to change to 16" & currently running on standard boge suspension and ori springs.will this cause my car to look like it is on stilts? just concerned about a big wheel gap,what do u guys think.dont intend to spend on lowering kits as far as possible..
