my e30 has been idle for months due to gears cant be engaged. so this morning moved the lazy butt to diy. as suspected the slave clutch cylinder went bust. the push rod's seal leak, so the rod was unable to push the clutch plate to disengage from engine. access to the mounting bolts , 2 of them , are limited. for the the top bolt, use the extention + flexible socket. the rest are kinna straight forward. use 2 person bleed as my old pressure bottle leaks. 1 hr job. finally took my e30 for some tire spinning after 3 months.:top:
