The shop is Fidelity Radcore, right? I took my other car there with the same problem and had the plastic replaced with a copper piece, it's better than ori now.

I recall it's Tech Radiator.... anyway, I saw there have replacement parts for BMW's radiator but I went there to replace the top cover for my bro's mazda astina's radiator...

hello geng.. i think better you check thermostarts. maybe it's to long you not check or use. maybe that thermostart jam or working not good.

hi, can i know how much it cost to replace with copper plate. thanks
do u have the phone no of fidelity radcore, and location - cos i dont know old klang road places .

It cost me around 190 installed, but that was for a Peugeot, price may be different for BMW. Their website is fidelityradcore.com.my, contact info is there. They have a few locations. The Old Klang Road shop is a bit tricky to find, maybe call them first for directions.

e30 radiator

i called the radiator shop
they not sure for bmwe30 - most probably no stock
anyone have other places to recommend - how about the naidu air cond
or does anyone have a radiator for sale

i also did call Fidelity and they say the same..."no stock"
my radiator leaks. every now and then have to top up.

anybody can recommend shops to fix radiator?

its very hard to get e30 parts nowadays.
maybe another option is to change the engine, put in an e36 engine.
e36 parts is easy to get.

My radiator got problem again, last month ago i send my radiator for services & change new side casing container for both side, then got a new one thermostat due to my e30 not have thermostat since i buy it 4years ago (dunno why previous owner not used it),then last week after high speed drive when reach home, shut off da engine & suddenly high water pressure came out from expansion tank, the cap like loose something!!! fuhh..waiting engine cooled down & tried to top up (3~4bottles water need, maybe half tank was out!!) & make sure cap replaced properly. Then day after that still got a same problem until now....water pressure still pull out & need top up water always....need help lor...

Why must you all try to repair when you can change brand new solve all the problem and don't say no spareparts. I bought brand new from 1st div Jln Ipoh at 520 if I am not wrong even mine just a small leak which can be repaired and never overheat even I had drive to Pinang and JB and thru jambs.

are all the hose clamps properly tightened???

Yup,all hose ok after recheck, something wrong somewhere lor....i always check water level in expansion tank before i start da engine & it's in a right level, then take a drive anywhere (temp meter level in 1/2) & after off da engine, steam water suddenly full in expansion tank & pull out through expansion tank cap....anyone got this problem before??

Temperature? this is my experience, BM must have no air leak if so that can happen. check any of your hoses and joints even under your manifold any leak, slight leak you had it, after drive stop and check any water leak, if no or you have got the temperature once up high it may blow your gasket just a little will leak air then the pressure in the expansion tank will go up, by right will go down at the level you had if not that shows air is in and you have to wait cool and let the pressure air out if not you will get high temp. again.

My problem starts from water pump then change tank then a hose like L shape blew at home and the fiber connection at the block leak a little that create overheat but I control the pressure when it start heated, because of all this little that makes the gasket to blew too, if unlucky worse water goes to engine oil get ready to top overhaul but mine it leak towards out not towards engine oil so I need to change the gasket only. Never allow the water level to go to the top of the expansion tank sure blew overheat thru the cap. Thats my experience.

recently change to 2.5 engine from 2.0..problem is temp keep on increase even after i've change to new thermostat, done a pressure test results in no leaking, change new cap, service radiator, change temperature switch, top overhaul, even add 2 more fan.but its result the same..any idea to solve my problem??btw,do u think old exhaust do affect??it has been a month..please anyone..

Thanks bro rezzy3181 for share ur experience, with this i can get more info bout this problem,i think my problem related to air leak lor...after i let the engine run for a while in idle & bleeding it & same time top up the water to the level, then i test run & stop found the water in expansion tank still in the level, no water leak & not blew out thru da cap like my case before...this problem solve after done bleeding!! Fuh..selamat!! maybe have air trape in radiator or hose so after stop da engine it will push the water out to da expansion tank lor...just my 2cent,lucky it's not effect a temperature...
