Engine idles ok but the back box is i hear a small explosion sound, any ideas what happen? things I've done:check all vacuums - no leakair filter - cleanedhead gasket - replacedTiming belt - replaced my e30 has been idled for 1.5 months before i bought the engine and gb fromour very own mr. tombstone - thanks dude!question:could it be my fuel pump?what is anyway charcoal canister? found it sumwhere in the forum

small explosion could be due to improper fuel-air mixture settings or ignition timing - go check with UDM specialist mech & c if he can get it adjusted/ more refined.

how do you adjust the settings of the ignition timing ? mind to share with us?

fuel air mixture can be adjusted during idling

jeembo,
please elaborate further on your problems, it is too vague, now you get alot of huha feedback with your vague description

from my understanding, you have small water droplets in your fuel system, idle engine not used will accumulate water droplets and particles, and thus this will be trapped in the fuel system somehow.......or worst still, you have a major problem like one of the forummers here who has water in the fuel tank, it keeps breaking down .....starts after 2 days in the sun

oh no...no mr teejay man...no water droplets, it could be the air mixture...i adjusted it today and it seems working fine no more explosion sound from the back box and the engine runs as it supposed to be now...but still need to go to professional workshop for further diagnosis...

thanks all for the feedback....i might come back for more questions as this is my first time using UDM...for office use only about 60KM per day.
