Those yellow bilstein are marvelous - stiff but still very comfortable :) but still not good enough if you want to take LDP corners at 140kmh++ :) The price was quite expensive also... about RM600 each. Thinking to get adjustable ones...

oh....lol....i think most corners on the LDP can be taken more then 120 on stock. Anyway i think if u wan full adjustiables there are a complete set from HotBits D1s which is a one way adjustiable and coilover shock. and can get with the helper spring and the canister.

How are the wide tyres in the rain???u are running 265 front and rear right?

of course can take... but kereta joget2 lor... hehe heavy maa... plus corners on the flyover are not smooth... some gaps here and there...

How much is the D1 price? They still make for e23? Who's the distributor here?

Was running on 235/40 & 265/30 last time on the 18". Now on 245/35 both on the 19". Still looking for 245/45 & 265/45 on 17" :)

So far no big problem with rain... didn't drive that fast when raining... :top:

Your car still standard eh? When want to come home and do some modding?

done it also bro, but punggung ada cikit lari coz 1 man on the car if fully loaded maybe more stable...hehehhe.....

Lama tak nampak bro? Apa macam sekarang? How's my bro bilstein black doing? ;)

H &R is the best.. sturdy n not too bumpy.. very good at corners... i dun like the eibach.. but it also depends on wat types.. the ones i has was all second hand.. so cant judge the springs

aiyohhh mafia... poton setim laa... hehehe... now my car sudah pasang 17" laa... look so small la the tires...

pics as below... hehe gap byk besar woo...

17side.jpg

:smokin:

lookin for best way to make it look better... hehe the potong & bakar spring metholodogy... kiv dulu ya...

syahruln....ur car looks higher then mine. dun mod the springs man.....if u wan try the hotbits lowering springs can get them from speedworks.com.my , it will drop ur car by 30mm.....how was the 19????i am actually considering 19 but looks a lil too big though???and the speedo will be wrong right?u ahve any pics of ur car with the 19's? when u look at ur car on a flat does it look senget one side? or is there a noticiable larger gap between the tyre and the fender between the right and left side?

wargh... how can that be? my car stock standard ma... hehehe... the 19" I used was heavy but didn't feel that much different from my 18" breyton. But with that AC2 17", whoa so much different dude. Feels like driving a kancil.

My speedometer reading already lower than actual, so I didn't really care. Just make sure from time to time you calculate the difference between the reading with the actual on highway or long distance driving. Or simplest, just drive next to a civic with digital meters and check its reading ;)

So far there isn't noticeable difference between the gaps on right or left. Still balanced hehe... your car still senget ka? No pics with the 19... but I can snap the gaps on the 17 if you really want to see them.

My car looks senget one side...may it is the bushes...time to change all those soon....i am quite interested in the 19 but afraid will not fit as i think it will but 18 looks slightly smaller then what i wan. i wonder if there is anywhere where i will be able to get the speedo adjusted when i cahnge the rims. oh ya...the hotbits lowering spring for the E23 is if i ahve not mistaken RM860 for all corners.

i think my car is lower then ur one coz my rear tyre does not have as much gap compare to ur one. Is a kancil actually fast??i remember during my driving test it was so hard to drive coz it almost have zero torque.

Nah..it is fine....i remember there was a picture of the gap on ur car, maybe u can snap a pic of the whole car with the ACS type2. 9 more months then i can do up my BMW. Ur car u strip and spray or just spray the exterior?

wah... so long eh your senget problem not settled... but I didn't really noticed it last time we met at the Kapitan. Only the tires looked noticeably too small :) Hot bits really RM860 all corners? Sounds reasonable, not too expensive. Will check it out the next round upgrade.. hehe... now busy with new apt.

My rear tire gap isn't that much compared to the front one. Maybe need to use bigger tires at the front... or perhaps heavier engine... hehehe...

What I meant was the car feels lighter la... heh not fast like kancil :) Steering feels lighter too.

I'll get the pics for you asap. Side view, is it? Last time only sprayed outside. Didn't have time to strip it bare... can't wait too long... :D

It is about 2 fingeres diff between the right and left, anyway i think it is the bushings. Ya....still the small ones coz i has not decided what rims i really wan. the HotBits is RM680 all corners...i just check again...does ur car have a rear roll bar? if not grip at the back then mus add weight at the rear...fill full tank..LOL.

I somehow still like the heavy steering...how long would it have taken if strip and paint?

oops... still havent take the pictures... hehe nanti ya...

which one is the rear roll bar? got pics?

not sure how long, depends on the paintshop... maybe extra 1 or 2 weeks...
