Mr. Yap is BLOODY GOOOOOOOOD!

I had 2 dents. One on the door and one on the rear panel.
I swear to you, I can't even find them now...

It's like I took the healing brush tool from Photoshop and took em away!

so how was the treatment of the dent?

I have two dents .... one below the rear number plate and then the other below the rear left brake lights.

will it cost RM130 per dent? expensive rite?
just met up with Mr Yap. Sad to say he kenot fix my dents and he is honest about it, telling me upon assessing the car dents. Unlike some people who probably will start the job and then say this kenot that kenot.

Thanks for Mr Yap's contact.

He dropped by this morning on the way to do another forumers Beemer in Ampang. Honest chap and told me that it would be cheaper to get it done together if I repaint the car. No job for him but still had time to chat and advise me on the bodywork needed.

Some dents he couldnt do as he would need larger tools (his shop is at Pandamaran). Smaller dents are his specialty and could cost as low as $80 per panel.

Those with dents to small to go to the workshop but big enough to irrate should check out his services.
;) ;) BTW discount for club members..showed him the club sticker!

I got Mr Yap to come to my place today. He was really punctual.

I had 2 dents, one at the c-pillar and one at the rear door, courtesy from the over enthusiastic newspaper delivery man

he managed to fix the dent at the rear door but could not fix the dent at the C-pillar as he can't reach the inside and aslo it was made up of a 3 layers.

He was up front about that and only charged me for one panel

Get him to charge at RM 50.00 per dent cause that's what he charged me.
Mr Yap normal charges is RM80 per panel.. meaning 1 door and he doesnt count how many dents there.. Maybe you have only 1 dent then he gave your discounted price bro.. :D

can he repair paint chip as well? i got a little chip on the door edge but no dent.

Hi All,

Got my dents done by Jerry Wong last weekend. On different panels, 1 spot of about 10sen coin size and 1 about 5sen coin size. He charged RM120 for the first and RM80(discounted from RM120) for the second. He has a RM120 policy for max 2 small(?) spots on same panel. Not sure if the RM200 paid is a good price.

Result wise, again no comparison to be made. It is subjective and I guess he has done his best. As I was watching him doing it and knew exactly where the spots were, my first impression was it could have been better. However, he did advise that if I send for detailing, care should be given to the 2 spots while buffing as the uneven surface may result in more paint being removed during the process...
