Cost of Ext.body paint for E36?

Hi, What it cost you on the External painting for E36 ?I got quoted for RM1800 on E36 Coupe. Same color.Some minor scratches and small dent on the front door, Some stone chip on the hood.

The costs of a paintjob depends largely on the paint used, Glasurit, Dupont, ICI, etc. What paint are they using at RM1800?

Got a quote for that price also for my e30 and the towkey offering me a dupont 2k paint at Tmn U, johore. Same color but no repainting on engine compartment and boot however painting include door interior.

My e21 is in the midst of painting, dupont in and out (same color) at RM1.6k in Segambut, the wmanship is quite good but the place is quite busy due to too many cars being sent for painting.

The beauty is that the painter would only call you oncde he is ready. I had to persuade him twice via follow up visit to do my car!

I guess rm1800 is a decent priced for the job provideng they use minimum . Dupont. Glasurit may set u back another 200-300...

How do we know the same brand of paint were use as per their quotation.

Last three weeks, I recommended a paint workshop to a friend that want to paint his odessy. The shop quote a price for glausurit (because I'd been recommending Glausurit to him). But once the job completed, he told me that one of the painter told him it is not glausurit. This thing really piss me off. Any comment are very much appreciated. Thanks

i need advice about the new paint job. someone quoted me 4k just for external paint job for e36 cause they said my existing paint coming off and need real scraping. And require 3 weeks job.

Any alternative and recommendation.
