Hi All,Just when I thought there was nothing more I could do to an E90... I was wrong!I'd like to share this interesting installation with you. My latest project...ICE! I came to undertsand that 2-Din is almost impossible at first, but not anymore... I finally found the item with the help of my trusty installer...Now i'm running audio, iPod, DVD multi-media, DVB-TV, and Navi all from the console of the Double-Din!Enjoy the pics bros...

Aren't u glad we don't have a spare tyre.. :p

With the additional kilos in the trunk, I bet your ride is even more balance that our stock rides..

The central console now looks a little cramp. I have seen others relocate the aircond control to place under the armrest box, and they install a double DIN touch screen into the front central console... a little more OEM look and towards my preference.

Anyway, good effort, great job! :top:

Hi Buddy...

Yeah... There's good and bad for no tyre well... And in this very case... GOOD! :top:

I also heard of the relocation thing as well, but would prefer to have all controls at the centre console area. You're right about the cramped look... But no choice since I wanted 2 single-din HUs. But if it's just a 2-din Monitor, think it will look really nice... Just like the OEM feel... :)

Thanks again bro!

Can you take a direct and straight photo shot of the Head Unit.

I want to know the amount of gap of the HU to the panel.

No offense for I think something is not right.. BTW, I still think of upgrading the HU.

Hi Jarance,

No problem... Let's share more together... Which headunit? The top or bottom one?

Thank, the top HU. You have shift the Aircon control unit down one step to the spare compartment.

I just want to see overall view & how the New HU blend with the aircon unit..

Jarence, As you requested...

Thanks bro.. Now I know how a non standard double din look like when fitted at a BMW dash board.

The width is slightly smaller however it is cover by the extra trim cover. Look like have to live with the slight mismatch but I presume you will get use it it after awhile.

Thanks again for the photo shot.. cheers:top:
