As we all know our original tyres are run-flats.Becos of this, did ur Z4 come with a jack and wrench to change tyres? For those who are running on normal tyres now, how have you guys gotten around the realistic concern of a flat?

The principle behind the run flat no need to worry about "tayar pancit" hence no need for spare tyre then no need for jack and wrench ??

Thanks for the reply. Logically your statement makes perfect sense, no spare tyre... no need for jack and wrench. But are you stating this from fact, and can confirm that your Z4 does not have a jack and wrench?

Simply wish to confirm.

Others?

sorry bro. misread your enquiry. As I dont own a Z4, I would not be able to answer your question.

Presume, the easiest way is to buy a seperate jack and proper tool to release the wheel bolt. For my E46, there is a smaller size emergency wheel that can store at the rear that allows a max speed of 80 Km/Hr.

Just a question. Why are you converting back to NORMAL tyres.

Is the RTF no good in term of handling, performance or it is just too expensive?

It's cost, as well as comfort. Made most sense. Thx for your comments.

You are not the RTF user who is contemplating to switch over to normal tyre when it time to change. Their opinion is the same as you. But I think the safety aspect of RTF have to be given due consideration.

I remember when I first saw a 40" LCD TV, it cost about RM20,000 10 years ago. Now it is going for RM5000. What I trying to say is the more the demand, the cost of theRTF tyres will dropped to a more reasonable and acceptable level and hopefully other features will be considered by the manufacturer.
