(DILEMMA) A 320i or a 318 M SPort

Guys, just gotta ask this one question, feeling quite stumped really . I am on lookout for a Beemer of my own, and have since fixed my eyes on 2 potential GF of choice. 1. BMW 320I Make 2001/2006 registered2 BMW 318i Msport Make 2002 /2006 registredBoth cars have run 100k in km, 320i comes slightly modded with air intake and 17" rims, while 318 is a stock MSPORT with sun roofMy question, which one will you choose? The price wont be revealed, but lets say both are equivalent to protect the identity of the owners. Am quite in a fix actually as BOTH cars has what i want1. 320i has power, but coming from a guy who has driven local cars all this while, the 318 still feels good2. I want a sunroof, and sadly the 320 doesnt have that3. I prefer a leather seat which the 320 has, but the 318 has a semi bucket seat i think. 4. 320 comes with resits and service records, but 318i has been serviced with a local bmw specialist whi is willing to vouch for the car. 5. The 320 owner is a family man, while the 318 is a single guy. 6. 320 comes with Captor, and 318 comes with a GSM tracker7. Both engines look and work great, and both owners have said that they are willing to let me bring the car for a full check up. 8. The 320 comes with a aftermarket bodykit, while msport shares the stock msport kit. If you have a choice, which one will you choose? Please help this guy make his first beemer purchase with confidence :top:Suthan Mp/s- If somehow there is a sunroof in the 320i, it would be my first choice. But oh well .. so here's the dilemma

Get a 325.... because I can almost guarantee you after about 3 months, you will lament the lack of power in the 320 or 318

if recond get those 320i 2.2 msport ....atleast you don't have to worry much on the goddies that comes with it ...etc bucket seats , m-tech bumpers , msport wheels , facelift lamps , sun roof and so on ..

if am not mistake the 320 comes with 2.0 and 2.2 .....

Same dilemma as me before. Both has its edge over the other, but for practicality, go for the 318. I guess this will be the M42 4-pot motor right?

You're right bro, both cars do have the edge over each other, making it frustrating too choose.

The 320i looks tempting... but i am leaning over the side of practicality here.

When someone says its underpowered, does that mean the car has crappy acceleration, top speed and so on?

I test drove the 318 and somehow it still feels strong for me.. or is this becouse i was too used to malaysian made cars ? :wink:

anyone else have any opinion on this?

Bro, my budget is 90k and below. do you think its possible to get this car with the spec you mentioned for this price?

And, where do i find one? I never found any 320i m sport version before.. are they rare on the road?
