Dead Pixels on Display

Done...changed the bulbs and I got my display back now. the bulbs cost me rm9 per piece.

I think the bulb are this type with holder.

Try Bavaria Auto Spart part shop in Jalan Meru.

I remember I got mine from auto spare part shop. They come without the holder. All I did was removed the broken bulb and resolder the new bulb to the old holder.

next time call and check first. Can also ask them to order for you and inform you when it arrived.. :thefinger:

Sorry to disappoint you all. I got mine for 90sens without the holder... he..hee.. just do some soldering and say RM7..

BTW my MID display is messed up also; anyone tried this DIY? I'm itching to give it a go....

Help on LCD 1200 GS LCD

Please I have an R1200GS 2005 with an LCD bad contact,I don´t know. It´s shattering, it´s blinking and freezes.

I opened the Instrument and found a white powder inside. A friend thinks that is water entry. The connection of LCD appears ok. I don´t know what could be....

Wah i also interested to learn how to repair the LED display later...............hehehehehhehe
Later my LCD screen got problem then i can DIY myself.
