Finally got around to change the colour of my car on my Registration car at JPJ Seberang Jaya. Procedure is pretty simple. Just fill up the JPJK8 Form is Borang Pindaan(Pertukaran) Data Kenderaan Dan Pemilik Berdaftar , get number from counter and wait for number. Go up to counter when number called, show IC and reg card (original), officer updates computer and changes the colour on your reg card by hand, chops and returns it to you. I suggest that you do it before they impose other requirements. No Puspakom Inspection required for now. I also updated my latest address on the reg card. The whole proses only took me about 1/2 hour.

This is great info! I need to do this for my car asap. Tq bro!

Any fee you need to pay. Was quoted labour of RM230 for changing of new reg. card with colour change and roadtax. Bloody expensive right?

I paid RM50 to change engine number on the reg card, but was very long ago.

I believe problem will occur when you want to sell off your car.....

Puspakom may have problem....

On road no issue.....

what problem if you state on your passport you have black hair but now its already green when crossing the country border?

The "color" column in the reg card is very important for crime investigation purposes. If it states otherwise, it's as serious as using a fake number plate.
