whenever i start my car i get the error message "check tail light" when i check all my light at rear of my car all working perfectly fine, i had the issue some time back then it went off for a while then now its back again, Any idea what could be the issue ?

I believe the previous owner changed to the facelifted light, i cleaned the connectors the other day still same, bulbs all working ok but planning to but another set just to rull out the bulb issue

if changed facelifted, chances are might have error code cos of the compatibility.
the ecu is programmed to deliver and receive certain properties such as wattage, voltage, amperes etc so it might be the facelifted taillight is sending/receive different values.
do u see any foreign object tapping onto the tiring for the taillight? if yes, ex-owner is running resistors to correct that n avoid the error msg.

it would be good if u can use your instruments panel to see what is the CCID code?
that should give u a rough idea of where the prob is occuring

Alternatively you can use diagnostic tools like PA Soft to disable it.
Let me try it. I totally forgot about this the disabling part, cool will check and let you guys know

hmmm...so now if you do have genuine failure of the tail light you will not know of it unless someone advises you or until you do a periodic check?

are you running the later model celis tails or aftermarket LEDs?

i have aftermarket LEDs and no issues.plug and play.
Check your connectors and do a thorough clean.

I doubt you have bulbs for your tail lights since you mentioned the wiring is "damn complicated"?
my guess is CELIS mod....

Bro moots yup you are right, its the celis mod. I cleaned all the contacts but no luck [emoji30]
