CD Changer not working!

Hi bros,All of a sudden, my CD changer stopped working yesterday. When try to change mode, it just says "NO DISCS" and then back to the radio. Have tried taking it out and re-inserting the discs.....no luck. Anyone can give me some clue or solution for this?Thx!

have u try removing all your six CD's from all their slots and reinserting it? does it help?

I'd encountered the exact problem... the CD changer was not working. I didn't bother to check at the time I got my car... so when I sent my E60 to install interface + DVD + Dension, the job couldn't be done.

In the end, I sent the car to do Progman in order to have the Audio Aux in my iDrive... therefore, No Dension but managed to install DVD player with USB..

I suggest that you send the car back to Obermaier and ask Freddie to check... I was told that it was due to the CCC's fault

BMW CD Changer can be fixed...seen couple of them got repaired.

Err bro, I know you know me from the E60 forum, but this is the E46 forum. My problem is with my 325, not 530. 530 changers are fine so far (touch wood!)

Yeah, did it a few times. When I do that and I turn on the player, I get "CD CHECK" but then it goes back to radio when it cannot detect any CDs. Tried so many combinations, e.g. changing the order of CDs, putting 1 CD in only, putting 2 CDs, etc... no luck

Just to update: sent to Ah Meng that day. Actually was there to replace my brake pads. Ah Meng said could pass to someone to fix. Just fixed it back today and so far so good. Problem was the CD Changer

where do you go to fix this ...I always go to ah meng but he didn't mentioned it....gosh...just came back from Mspeed today...my car sound rought and jerking....not sure why...changed my valvetronic motor loan from him. See what happen.

You can mention to Ah Meng. He will take out your CD Changer and send it to someone to fix. Actually the shop is quite near MSpeed.

There was a black 318 yesterday at MSpeed at around 11am. Was that your car?
