Have you tried giving it a good whack? It usually solves 80% of my problems but then again YMMV.

(Btw, i dont take responsibility for the aftermath....)

i have the exact similar problem with the car.. is that common with BMW? cant believe they still charge you so expensive for a lousy changer like that.

i am gonna bring my changer back to fix next time. the last time i sent my in for repair here. they said it was fixed but the problem persist after 2 days. stupid british charged me 36 pounds! and told me if i need to recheck, will cost me another 35 quid! idiot lousy good for nothing Guai lou...

no wonder their people are so outdated and poorly educated. forget about the great empire.. they are going down hill which will lead to an inevitable destruction of their so called great nation
