Buying E38 728i

Hi,Need some advice on buying e38 728i. Should I buy year 96 to 98 below 90K or just buy year 2001 above 110K and less hassle on upgrading to facelift? very hard to decide. If i buy year 96 how much i expecting to spend on upgrading to facelift. Thanks.

buy the face lifted.. better condition.. look for the sat.nav. screen or the tv ones..
better full spec with the double laminated glasses..

Yesterday I saw one 735iL year 96/97 in sunway next to LDP. Very nice condition but is long wheel base. Asking 108k.

Try avoid the long wheel base 7er because it can get very expensive to maintain and repair... my uncle has a 735iL and it a pain in the a** to maintain.

The most common problem ive noticed with the long wheel base e38 is the EDC system for the car. He had to get his fixed a couple of times before it had to be replaced.
