buy car in KL, register plate in Pahang

can the car bought in KL use a Pahang plate number because the first letter is the same as, say, someone's name? (talk abt trivial).must the car be sent to Pahang JPJ to do that or can it be done in KL itself since all the JPJ are online?

just bcos they're online doesnt mean they 'talk' to each other. lazy bums like them cant be depended on. my bet is that u have to go to pahang jpj

you can register in which state that you want.you no need to drive your car over unless is a used car or cbu model so you need to inspection in the state that you want to register.new car just ask the dealer prepare k1,e-hakmilik,insurance & your i.c so you can register at pahang.for further question you are welcome to call me at 012-6236774 i will answer your question coz i work with toyota dealer.

my friend bought new car in JB since KL out of stock and registered in KL plate no problem. runner will do.
for used car u can reassignment if u insist want Pahang plate.
