I've talked to someone from BMW Malaysia...he told me that they got anuder event. A Mini Event ,the same day as the HPC event in Sepang.

go www.bmw.com.my ( click on events ) see if you can try register for the event.

test drove the E65740i....the SalesGirl keep looking in between my leg,when I asked how to turn off the Traction Control...Sorry Yolk. When I ask how to adjust the seats to move a little bit to the front...*sigh* AGAIN!! She looked in between my leg. I guess she must have liked what I have between my leg.

Then the much anticipated E90 325i......fast car,good traction ..too smooth to my liking.( not to piss anybody off here ah...sorry)The SalesRep( Mr.Tamu) is nice enuf to let me have a bit of fun.

agrh...!!! the waiting list for the Mini Cooper S is too long...had to go off with my friends.

Thanks BMW Malaysia..they got so many free gifts. Got 2 toy cars,sweets and balloons for acting cute( Thanks Ah Lian) and Played To Loose to get two Mini Free Gifts, The Roulletes and the Black Jack.

Mr.Vijay told me that he Drove the E92 335i at 280kmh( cheh..speed demon oso la that guy) in Germany. Then shown me that the M6 came with a plastic hood..!!!!

Well for those who miss it..well too bad. I had fun.

Zog, you didn't wet your pants, especially in the middle part which attracted the attention, or did you?

I saw the M6 with carbon fibre roof but didn't notice the hood made with plastic.

Then I went to look the 730Li next and noticed a ~4-5" bolt lying on the ground beneath the rear axle. I promptly called the sales person and told him their top end product has serious quality problem . Guess what, sort of tidak apa attitude .

Test drove the only car on the lot with manual tranny, the 116i. It is also the car on the lot fitted with Goodyear NCT5 tires. Overall not too bad for PG downtown driving. I find that the clutch and brake are too close to each other. Was afraid my left sandal gonna stuck behind the brake pedal during release but fortunately that didn't happen.


ps/ The bolt was most probably left behind by the people building the shelter.

hahaha i know someone who stayed and stayed at the test drive counter to drive the cooper s. he said he would not go home until he gets his hands on it. last time i checked (last night ler) he got his drive and went to sleep dreaming about the mini.

me? I signed up for the mini cooper s but the list was freakingly long.... my name was called but to busy eating to notice, by the time i checked, my name was rotated to the back of the list Got the 325i and the 116i to drive. 325i was so effortless, effortless acceleration, steering, everything! so much so until my daughter fell asleep in the back while i was whacking the car! a bit too effortless for my liking. The 116i was an eye opener. i'm expecting it to be an underpowerd crappy small car with cramped interior. After the drive, i found it to be underpowered still, but smooth, refined, spacious and most importantly it has a very honest handling. kind of like a grown up E30.

and active steering? cant be bothered with it. found the 325i a bit 'wandery' at high speeds and you have to conciously keep correcting the wheel. The 116i feels better, tracking straight and true with no concious effort on the wheel

So many people there today. Was there around 2.30pm till 5pm.....
Never test drive any car but.... spending time eating.... food there is wonderful la....

You guys have to get there earlier inorder to get to test drive your choice vehicle. I got to drive the cooper S and must say it was pretty fun. The test route was a little short but I managed to do two laps since my 'lap times' was short. Not lots of turns except for the u turn at Hartamas. Managed to get the car to understeer a little but good that i was able to power out and then came the torque stear. The supercharger whine is pronounce and actually pleasant to hear.

This MCS has good handling and moderate acceleration. Overall, I am impressed with the interior's fit and finish. The dash has improved over the older MCS cause the speedometer is now next to the tachometer in front of the steering wheel. Personally, its a little less retro, which plays to my preference.
Well, this guy said its a little over 200K. Pretty tempting, need to go test the Golf GTI next.

hahahahaha... i've fun driving the 116 and 320....
the conclusion from me as an amuture driver...
the 116 is like very light but there's no inersia to swing the back end.. its quite fun with that car, and i feel like connected to the world not like 5 siries... from scale from 1-10(1=worst , 10=best)... its 8

320... hmmmm... what about this car... somehow i found it only good... not that good... maybe it is tooo soft for my heart.... some dragging in the secondgear(in the automatic...) and third.... but i can feel it have some "bontot" because while turn that car do tempt to drift abit before the dtc kick in... i didnt turn off the dtc(because my salesguy is one old guy.... nofun ).......from scale from 1-10(1=worst , 10=best)... its 6

while i'm driving the 116, the salesgirl ask me are all our club member one to test the car...(i said yes)... she ask again are any one with crazymind (i said yes...)... later i saw XXX in the 116 with the same girl.... i told the girl, this is one of them(the crazy dudes)... but i dont know how the test goes....
