hey there guys,i got a question to ask you sifus.. i need some help with my brakes. hope to get some advice as my brake problems is the second last on my list then my E21 restoration project is near complete.:top:i cant source a replacement master cylinder and servo for a decent price. i was quoted 450 for the master pump alone from one spare part shop which i think is nonsense coz a friend suggested i put in a set up from a cefiro A31 which only cost 200 bucks including the servo and master cylinder. the only problem with that set up is that my brake lines and the outlet on the pump are on opposite sides. so my question is..would it be possible for me to use steel braided brake hoses to connect the pump to the brake lines? it something like that possible? if not what wud you suggest?what other servo and master pump set ups would be suitable for this lil E21? mine is the long arm type where the servo and master cylinder sits just behind the front right lamps and the master pump has three outlets. and suggestions guys?thanks in advance.. :D

Even a Proton Waja's local brake servo cost 500 from Proton Edar :stupid::stupid:
BMW .. banyak makan wang

paid rm400 for master pump and cylinder few years back - double diaphram one.....7 series.

but then how much ur life cost ah? dun skimp on brakes system lar bro.

hehe i hear you bro.. am not budgeting on the safety of the car. just that why pay more for something that doesnt perform as good as something that is a bit cheaper? the e21s did not have all that great brakes to begin with. so i guess i will be going the nissan cefiro master pump and servo route after all. and all the parts coming at that price are brand new by the way. and it turns out i wud be able to get the fittings in correctly for it to all work out.
another reason i am having difficulty is because my master pump is a three outlet one and all those i have looked (e30 for example) seem to be two outlets. :s
would love to get more info if anyone cud advice me further tho..
if not the brakes wud be going in the coming weekend with a new set of brake hoses and pads.
