Hi guys,my brakes are gone, meaning, when i depress the brake pedals, it sinks all the way in without any resistance, with a sound of gas being let out, when the pedals settle, i still manage to brake a little. I just want to confirm if this is the symptom of a faulty brake pump servo. and which part should most probably be the problem. Note:" the brake fluid is still full" .it IS very dangerous driving this fellar around, with the faulty brakes ,well but i dont wanna go to the mech and get asked to change something unnecessary. had this experience one too many times.currently not ready to upgrade to a e32 brake set yet because of schedule and the hassle. please advice! ;) cheers!

dan... told you that your MC is out... it's the only explaination..

if the fluid is down, then there is a leak on your calipers or slave pump(drum brakes)

agree wz pussy,
don't bother changing just the piston (ie buying the repair kit) as most times the inner cylinder walls have scored or corroded as what I experienced.Had to go back to the shop and buy the complete MC circa RM320 if I remember correctly...or maybe RM230....lupa lah. After pasang....(DIY of crs)tremendous improvement in braking efficiency...but the lag still there...perhaps i shud mod the booster pakai e32 one....?

dungbtle,

change ur mc to that from the 7 series one......ask Zoggee & Pussy.

I did this conversion - PEACE OF MIND but of course, make sure every part of your brakes incuding disc is up to specs...

Brakes.....dun play play
