Brake Lining Light Come and Go??

Hi guys,It's been a while since i posts. I've been away and now I'm back .I have one irritating problem with my car. The problem is the brake lining light blinks on and off. I was told that my rear sensors are damaged. Or is there any other factor to my problem? Brake pad is still new replaced it early this year. If the sensors really need to be change, how much will it cost? any recommended workshops? I need a second opinion as my mechanic said it's hard to get the sensors nowadays.Thanks in advance

is it rear or front left sensors. in eng soon spore it is $4.50 only for the front left brake sensor...

Should be less than RM 35/=. Can get it allmost all the places... Sometimes its just a connection problem. I thought my brake lining had reached the time to change but then when i checked, i still had at least 60 % of lining left all round. So i removed the back RIGHT tyre and checked the sensor to be okie but it wasnt for the front LEFT. The sensor connector socket came off. After connecting back, my brake lining warning had gone.

rm35?? I was quoted rm100 for the sensor.. I bet my sensor is out, remembered my mech put a tape on it to make the connection stays.. do you guys think i could just by the sensor and plug i t in myself? btw what's the part number for the sensor?

For the sensor replacement. you need to remove the brake pad first in order to replace the sensor..

For E46, I remember that you need a size 7 allen key to release the brake caliper. Not sure for e30.

btw, what model is your e30?
