BMW Mobile Assist letdown

Is it true that BMW Mobile Assist only service under warranty cars only?I was denied the service few days ago just because my E39 is 6 years old!!

Called them twice before and they came to rectify problem.Once towed to AB due to leaking radiator.
Is there a new ruling that I'm not aware of?

It's been many years since I dealt with them but in that instance, I was a 2nd hand owner of my E36 which was no longer under warranty. The car died on me cos the fuel pump had failed and was even spouting petrol on the road. They came to my assistance to reinstall the clip so I could get going and didn't bill me. The following day, I got it fixed at M1. So, I was under the impression that they assist all BMW cars bought from Auto Bavaria. I'm not sure now whether it is AB which provides this service or BMW Malaysia.

Bought mine new from AB in 2001. Just don't understand why I was denied the service.
Maybe the operator had a bad day or something.

Why dont u call Ab and check check..??

Did call AB (Johor Bahru) and spoke to a salesperson and her response was "Why like that one? . I'll check and see ". They shouldn't treat loyal customers this way. Quite disappointed really.
