Thanks for the photos buddy! I just got back! Knackered. Almost cried when I realised it was my last lap on the M3 Carbon Edition...!

Wah, lucky you! You got the Carbon Edition! Must be lighter than the usual M3s right?

Yup, was a hot day...but the fun factor tops it all. I hope we got a 'clean' record without any mishap in our group.

Carbon fiber edition is just with some
Carbon parts, not any lighter but more bling bling!!:)

The ///M is still a superbly balanced car on the track!

Got into my car after the event then i wondered... how the hell did bundy do that on the track? Thanks for the Taxi ride, missed track time for it but it's ok cause i got to be in three different ///M in track time cause my m5 ran out of fuel halfway :)

...but seriously the M's didn't leave a lasting impression, ....or was it because I didn't get a perfect lap with it....it was stop & go & stop & go in my session ...couldn't attack the corners, only can slam the throttle on the straights...and that's not what the M's are all abt...and the 5 I had, the brakes were juddering during braking and the X6M was just a big powerful thing of which imho the Chayenne is better even the growl of the Chayenne sounds more menacing but maybe the 3 would have changed all that, unfortunately i didnt manage to get myhands on one... but maybe it's all sour grapes bcos I can't own one ....Yet!

For me the most memorable of all day was the driver training module, the door gifts were fantastic too, one of the stuff in the goody bag was a ///M polo shirt with ur name embroidered on it and for answering a survey u get a USB thumb drive in the shape of a ///M key fob.....overall it was a great event but that is what u would expect from a BMW organized event.

The blue one right? yup that was the m5 i drove i was the last group on the track so imagine how bad it was... some more fuel warning beep plus the dsc was blinking non stop :) not so confidence inspiring but still fun. X6m is such a boat like a big yacht on land more highway cruiser i guess. Agreed the event went very well.

Yup the blue one and yes the dsc was also blinking all the way, and I thought it was bcos I was flooring it too early coming out from the corners....

I had the M5 in the first run and then switched to the M3 later. The M5 felt cumbersome on track but the M3 is another animal all together, it is sharp, nimble & precise. Had a blast in the M3 and kept thinking about it the whole night1

That's bcos nobody destroyed the 3's yet...but that was wht I heard too ..the 3 was the car to drive on the track...

was looking forward to test the F10 M5 after all the marketing hype and reviews by magazines...no doubt it is a powerful (very), but i think it is too civilized for me...was abit dissapointed and reafirm my personal preference of NA engine...after the drive, its fails to leave a lasting impression which would normally makes u craving for more...still its a great car in its own...

for me, X6M makes no sense and not a true ///M...its just a powerful SAV...

great event and like alvin i enjoy the drifting session more with the 325 e92 as it is not under controlled pace...
