BMW E39 keyfob (remote not working)

My remote stopped working all of a sudden. I diagnosed and couldn't find anything wrong. I suspect its the Keyfob not sending signal.

When i press to unlock, lock, lower the windows nothing works, but if i use the key to unlock / lock and lower the window it works so the interior module works. And also the central locking is working fine.

Can i buy a new keyfob or reprogram a key from a different car ? How much is a new Key. My key is the 2 button key lock and unlock button only.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Two things ..... battery could be flat or the key fob is not sync. Goggle search on how to sync your key fob.

Hi Herbert how are you doing ?, i replaced the battery and tried the resync, press and hold the unlock button and press the lock 3 times fast but nothing happens.
