Hi Guys,

Ok... weird things here... me and my fren were doing some sort of test and disaster happened.

I was locked in the car by the keyfob, and then keyfob thrown inside the boot by my fren and closes it.

The whole idea was to test, whether if the keyfob is inside boot and we closes the boot, will the boot closed or will not, and if the boot really closes with the fob in it, i will be able to open it from inside the car....

But.... it doesn't... and i am stucked inside the car and the keyfob inside the boot... the only way is to use the spare keyfob to open.

So guys, is it really true that, we cannot unlock the doors from inside if we locked it using the fob and the fob is outside and someone is inside the car?

Did you try the central locking button or Did you pull the door handle twice? first pull unlocks the door. Second pull opens the door. You guys just got too much time on your hands!

When you lock the door with the FOB, it will double lock the door. Anyone inside the car cannot open the door.
This is feature of BMW lock. You can only open the door only with the fob.

This is a security feature of the BMW. if someone break your window and try to grap something in the car, the person would
not be able to open the door. Even if he can open the door, the person still cannot "push start" the car without the FOB.

Honestly, It is not possible to lock himself/herself in the car and manage at the same time to lock the FOB in the carboot.

Indeed, only done this experiment purposely to test this scenario. Much appreciate the share. Now we know.
