I think someone drove the car earlier and the steering and throttle input (telemetry) was saved. Probably just need to ensure the car starts at the correct point, perhaps with GPS it will be fine.

That's like the 2nd oldest invention already...
It's been showed at 5th Gear a few months ago...
After that was the technology that enable BMW to see the night called (OWL Eye?
I think that 's what it was called...

By the way, this technology is created for drivers that has a small space in the garage that they are not able to come out of their car with out hitting their other car...
It enables you to park it in with a press of a button... (STRAIGHT BY THE WAY)
and with another click of a button the car can also reverse out by it's self...
Don't know what it was called again... Forgot already? (Sorry about that)

But it's now a race of technological advance between BMW, VOLVO & MERCEDES.
You guys should read the car magazine more often to get updated....

Volvo has one of the best and usefull technological advancement built in to one of their model... ( I cant tell you what...)

But anyways, Yeah it's still a good & cool idea cause BMW thought of it...
