Go to SC and buy their ori mat, it's not expensive. Make sure the Velcro patch is utilized to secure the mat from sliding. It's very dangerous if that's not observed because it can jam the gas pedal. Toyota north america was sued due to that.

i got the black all weather car mat.. a little bit pricey but it was well worth it.... do u guys know how much would it cost in AB?

hate wearing rubber :p.. after walloping a few corners to Genting Highland, the rubber mat can turn flying carpet in the car.. :4:

The rubber mat is heavy and is locked to the floor with velcroes, how can it fly?

I got it for EUR76.09 exclude vat, SGD160 = EUR90 so about the same price as yours.. I agreed it was pretty good quality and happy with the extra purchase..

but Im not too sure whether to use both mat together or not. I assume that I could put the rubber mat underneath the velour mat, and when it rains, swap the position? what u guys normally did?

I just put the rubber mat over the velour... When the car is not in much use... I will take the rubber mat out to do a thorough cleaning. meanwhile, my car will still look like just rolled out from showroom.

yeah... i guess that might be the best way with our weather condition..

i will vouch for that.. love mine. easy to clean and my velour one is always in good nick

some carpet will move from time to time and ive read the issue of having extra carpet will give your ankle a awkward position when you want to step on throttle ..i checked out IA original velour is only rm280 i think ..so im not bothered putting an extra carpet because the original seems reasonable price..in case its gone bad/fugly cheap to replace..

Some carmat/ rubber mat perhaps...
I'd ordered the original F10 spec all weather one. No problem with slipperage.
If one doesnt like having it over the original velour? can just remove and keep at store and replace with this.
I paid mine for 150+ SGD and that is about 370 Ringgit.
I reckon this can save me from changing the velour mat every 2-3 years
and also more importantly cleaning the car, rubber mat is way easier to wash, just hose down the mat and air dry it.
Velour- needs buffering and upholstery cleaner and definitely not fun to wash on weekly basis..
I wash mine 3-4 times a week, car washed every other day....that make sense to have this
